We are constantly asked for yarn and fibre samples and we understand that you like to try before you buy , so here's our solution. It's not a new idea but it seems to work for others, so we'll give it a go.

You will need to tell us whether you're a Yarnie or a Fibreholic coz we know that some of you love to spin and felt and others knit, crochet, and weave etc but not everyone does all crafts - there's never enough time to enjoy ourselves !

Club No 1 for Yarnies: Sign up for three months @ $10/month (ie $30 total) and we will send you each month, a selection of our beautiful natural fibre yarns, maybe hand dyed, may be natural. These samples will each be a few metres only but enough to get a feel for the yarn and experiment with it and see how the hand dyed colours look in real life.

Club No 2 for Yarnies: Sign up for three months @ $20/month ($60 total charge) and we will send you each month, a selection of our beautiful natural fibre yarns, maybe hand dyed, maybe natural.These samples will each be around 10 gms each which will give you an opportunity to do some actual knitting with them ie work up a swatch to see how they look once they become a fabric. There will be a minimum of three yarns per month and maybe more depending on the cost of each yarn included.

Club No 3 for Fibreholics: Sign up for three months@$15/month ($45 total charge) and we will send you each month either some hand dyed top or hand dyed fibres (unprocessed) and maybe some carded fibres or a mix of all three.

Regular Postage for each Club Membership will be $18 for three months (updated for July price rises by Aust Post)..

Total cost in Summary:

Club 1 for Yarnies $30 + $18 = $48

Club 2 for Yarnies $60 + $18 = $78

Club 3 for Fibreholics $45 + $18 = $63.

There is no limit to the number of Clubs you join and you can sign up any time now, to receive your first months samples in January 2010.

All you need to do is to provide us with your name and a postal address and make your payment for the three months into the Lara Downs bank account: BSB 633-000 Act 128 248 903

Please note that if you want your samples by Express Post and/or to pay by credit card, there will be a small additional charge involved. Please indicate your wishes in your request email.

We have seen some items similar to our fibres (but not as good obviously !) out there in the marketplace at ridiculously high prices. Don't be ripped off. Buy from reputable suppliers (like us) and you will receive good value for money.
