Trading at Fitzroy, Melbourne

Sadly we have been asked to vacate our current retail space at Fitzroy as from Friday 19th December. Our landlords want to expand their own business, so we have been asked to move. We would therefore like to invite our many wonderful customers to put out the word that we are looking for a new home, preferably to share with like minded 'textilish' crafty types. If you have any ideas, please contact Pam (0417 549 213) or Wendy (0423 514 668).

In the mean time we will continue to operate as normal at Fitzroy, with Pam being in the shop on Wednesdays and Wendy on Thursdays. Beautiful Silks' staff will assist you on other days.

Finding us in Fitzroy : we are just around the corner from the vibrant shopping precinct of Brunswick St, Fitzroy (ie head West away from Brunswick St, by walking up Victoria St only a few buildings from the corner. Look for the Beautiful Silks sign. You can pick Victoria St, when walking along Brunswick St, by The Red Tongue bistro on the corner of Brunswick & Victoria). Victoria St is just one street South of & runs parallel to Johnston St. Melway page 44 ref A4. Check map online and insert this grid reference.

Parking: there are plenty of 1 or 2 hour spots in nearby streets but if you wish to plan a longer visit including lunch at one of the many exciting food outlets in Brunswick St, then there is plenty of unrestricted parking North of Alexandra Pde intersection around the Edinburgh Gardens. Catch a tram back down Brunswick St. for easy access.

 

Attendance at One Off Special Events 2008:

The Bendigo Sheep Show is always on our schedule. 18-20th July is the date for this fabulous fibre event. Don't miss it.

Geelong Fibre Forum in September is also another regular event for us.
